In the late 1800’s a hunter only had one shot and needed to make the best of it.  The punt gun was approximately 10 feet long with a two inch barrel.  Under the cover of darkness market hunters would sneak up on a raft of sleeping ducks and fire off up to 2lbs of BB shot with 1lb. of black powder.  A single shot from one of these monster muzzleloading shotguns could kill nearly 100 ducks.

Leave it to Tom Knapp to want to put live ammo in a replica Punt Gun and pull the trigger!  Thanks to Jeryl and Todd Halter we got the chance to do just that. See for yourself. This video clip was posted on You Tube and viewed thousands of times, but then it got posted at Break.com where it has been viewed over 1 MILLION Times! People like BIG GUNS!
